Position Summary

With safety being the first and foremost priority, perform minor/major repairs on various types & brands of equipment from TBI-owned fleet as well as outside customer equipment. The objective is to provide our Internal/External customers with first-class equipment repair services.

Required Skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose equipment to identify faults, malfunctions, or maintenance needs.

  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on various types of equipment, including but not limited to hydraulic systems, engines, electrical components, and mechanical systems.

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and minimize downtime.

  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery and components for repair or replacement of parts.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Document all repairs and maintenance tasks accurately and maintain detailed service records.

  • Test repaired equipment to verify proper functionality and performance.

  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding equipment status, repair timelines, and recommendations.

  • Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and supplies needed for repairs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role, preferably in equipment repair.

  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.

  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.

  • Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a shop or service center environment.

  • May be required to work in varying weather conditions or outdoor settings.

  • Regularly lift and move heavy equipment and parts.

  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
