Looking for a career that pays you to travel and offers daily guaranteed pay? Professional Transportation Inc is needing drivers to travel across the country and is looking for someone like you to join our team!

Driver Pay starts at $15.00/hr

Guaranteed Weekly Rate of $350, plus $40/day per diem while on assignment.**

Requirements to be a CD Driver with PTI:

  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical

  • Must be able to pass background checks for all customers

  • Must be able to travel on an as needed basis and commit to being out for a minimum of 30 days at a time

  • All assignment movements (going and returning) are assigned by seniority within the company

  • Cannot work at a local branch when not on a Special Project assignment

  • Employee will receive a fuel card to use that is deactivated when they are not on an assignment

  • Employee will be responsible for following all policies related to the use of this card

  • Assignments are on as needed basis and are not always guarantee

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequently: lifting up to 15 lbs., kneeling, stooping, bending, leaning, multiple physical activities performed at the same time. Constantly: hearing/listening, clear speech, simple touching, walking (inside and outside), pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, driving vehicle, seeing.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Provide safe and reliable van transportation services for our customers, while following local, state, and federal traffic laws

  • Employee is paid while traveling to and from an assignment, along with pay for working at the location assigned when on a scheduled trip from the customer.

  • Assignments are on as needed basis and are not always guaranteed.

PAY INCENTIVES:

  • Employee will receive $40/day per diem which is untaxed (paid in advance from Wednesday to Tuesday) – used for food, toiletries, or other essentials while traveling and/or while on assignment

  • Employee may also receive either a daily stipend or a daily bonus depending on the assignment.

  • Travel (air or ground) is paid for by the company, along with one luggage fee covered

  • If flying, company will reimburse at the standard bag rate (determined by airline – employee will be responsible for anything over the standard rate)

  • Receipts must be submitted by the employee

  • Hotel is paid for by the company (includes rates, taxes, and incidentals)

  • If a rental car is required for travel and/or special project assignments, the company will cover the cost.
