Records, distributes and reconciles daily patient bank account
Audits and processes provider invoices for payment
Processes county clothing invoices and receipts
Deposits meal ticket and maintenance receipts
Enters physician charges into Reliable for billing purposes
Ability to reconcile accounts and balance cash drawer
Ability to educate patients regarding their finances
Ability to verify insurance benefits for patients
Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicaid 590 program
Knowledge of Social Security, State Board of Accounts and hospital policy on Patient Monies
Six months of clerical experience in accounting, bookkeeping or related area
Accredited college training in accounting, bookkeeping or related area may substitute for required work experience
Must obtain CPR and CPI certification, demonstrate ability to perform techniques, and maintain certification throughout employment
