Responsibilities

The Production Program Manager will be responsible for managing multiple programs simultaneously, driving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring that production schedules and goals are met within budget and timeline constraints. You will manage a team of production staff, coordinate with other departments, and implement strategies to optimize productivity, and quality.

  • Lead manufacturing programs to meet production targets and quality standards.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with company and customer goals.

  • Oversee job progress and mitigate production risks.

  • Provide weekly updates to management and customers.

  • Attend daily production meetings and verify designs with engineering.

  • Motivate and manage a team to meet production targets.

  • Develop and monitor production schedules.

  • Address bottlenecks and ensure timely delivery of orders.

  • Coordinate material availability and identify process improvements.

  • Provide training, feedback, and participate in employee evaluations.

  • Work with Engineering, Supply Chain, QA, and Operations to resolve issues.

  • Serve as the main contact for program inquiries and updates.

  • Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Implement best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Maintain quality control processes in collaboration with QA.

  • Address quality issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
