Weyerhaeuser Electrical Supervisor in Eugene, Oregon

Weyerhaeuser is seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. Weyerhaeuser’s Eugene ELP Mill is currently looking to fil a Supervisor Level Industrial Electrician position at our Eugene facility. This is your opportunity to lead a team. Our manufacturing facilities are highly automated and utilize many leading-edge technologies in the wood products industry.

Key Functions:

  • Train, develop, support, and oversee Electrical Apprentices.
  • Lead electrical safety training of maintenance department and new hires.
  • Maintain and update our site electrical safety program.
  • Ensure all electrical work is in accordance with NFPA 70 and OESC.
  • Manage the master electrical permit.
  • Design, plan and layout all new electrical installations within the plant.
  • Maintain and update electrical drawings.
  • Manage routine inspection and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Complete electrical aspects of new construction and maintenance related projects.
  • Work closely with maintenance and operations teams.

  • Able to work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Proven analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work on occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to Maintain and troubleshoot integrated electromechanical systems.
  • Electrical Supervisor card.
  • 3 – 5 Years in an industrial environment.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Troubleshooting programming and maintenance of Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC controllers.
  • Be able to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and ladder logic.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
