Job Overview

  • Design plastic injection molding tools and the modifaction and reparation process of molding tools, plastic rebuilding kits for plastic injection molding tools

  • Check the creation of the drawings, produce a batch of parts to be used, create assembly drawings, if necessary

  • Examine the equipment or product to make sure it is safe to operate

  • Make experiments with the use of production and practical experience

  • Study the encountered problems related to work, prove the new solution, monitor the experiment and record the results

  • Get involved in the determination of the economical production technology of the components to be used, during the technical design work

  • Has strong impact in new product development projects

  • Drives for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods

  • Acts as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering

  • Supports Product Development in the optimization designs and piece parts for manufacturability; realizes sample tooling, product samples and prototypes

  • Designs, develops, and qualifies tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards

  • Documents all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems (SAP, TLM)

  • Initiates and implements programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time

What your background should look like:

  • University degree or technical degree in mechanical engineering

  • At least 1-2 years work experience in similar position

  • Knowledge of technical design tools and software (e.g. CREO, CAD, CAE, Solidworks, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of general engineering tools (LEAN or 6-sigma) such as FMEA, etc.

  • Intermediate English language skills
