General Responsibilities The HR Program Manager will develop, implement, and maintain Human Resource programs. This role will support the coordination of cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and programs for the Field Operations organization. This role will be a key member HR team and will work closely with program stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of the business goals and key influences, and then create strategic and innovative solutions to meet them. Central to this role will be working with internal and external stakeholders, so you will need to bring strong and relevant experience of managing projects and programs involving multiple partners and driving success for all involved parties. This role requires strategic partnership with the Senior Leadership Team, HR Leadership Team, overall HR team, outside counsel and consultants to achieve HR and company goals. The person in this role partners to develop and execute human resources programs that support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. · Support the management of HR projects to ensure programs are prioritized to drive the organizational strategy, resources are allocated accordingly, program timelines and commitments are reasonable, and programs are relevant and support the needs of the business · Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Business Leaders, and Centers of Excellence to facilitate the delivery of programs and maintain business objectives · Review or revise program policies and processes, make recommendations for improvement, and ensure proper program alignment · Actively engage in managing complex, cross functional projects and programs involving change management · Assist in the development of project scopes and objectives as needed, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility · Identify potential risks or internal/external business challenges and use best practices and knowledge to effectively mitigate or remove barriers to project success · Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of programs · Build healthy relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders of all levels including senior leadership, geographically distributed project team members, cross-functional stakeholders, and vendors · Manage assigned HR programs/initiatives, including but not limited to: . The Maintenance Program which will significantly impact the talent pipeline, workforce agency and technical school partnerships, talent management, and apprenticeships tax credits. · This role will travel up to 50% of the time. Essential Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience · PMP or other Project Management Certification, preferred · 5 years of HR experience · 2 years of program management experience Skills: · Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite · Ability to provide analytics, identify trends, communicate, and present insights from the data · Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations · Demonstrated project/program management skills highly preferred · Proven track record of completing projects to specifications while dealing with challenges such as changing schedules, transformation, location strategy and evolving requirements · Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team and with internal business partners · Ability to influence others without formal authority · Analytical mindset, resilient, and tenacious · Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships · Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations · Ability to work comfortably across functional and geographical boundaries · Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience presenting project status · Knowledge of Visio and Project, preferred · Attention to detail · Results driven Hertz is a Drug Free Workplace.
