Coordinate shift functions

Start Shift verifying machine by machine, reviewing the loads of each machine and emergencies according to the classification of priorities and requirements of internal or external clients, guided by the backlog and the daily production control report.

Evaluate the conditions per machine and the available production capacities.

Distribute product, operation skills, cost center, labor availability.

Determine production times according to the urgency of the order and the characteristics of the product (experience of production times)

Check that each machine has the necessary materials and tools to carry out its respective operation.

Monitor production execution

Supervise that production orders are distributed by work centers and production orders are assigned according to priorities

Supervise that human resources are assigned to the machines, to cover the projected production capacity.

Analyze excess demands in work centers and look for alternatives to minimize the impact on order delays.

Evaluate production efficiency.

Reviews and coordinates the execution of the preventive maintenance plan with the Mtto area.

Analyzes and makes decisions arising from problems presented in the production plant

Report production

Design efficiency reports by operator

Design reports on the fulfillment of production orders,

Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly statistical analysis reports to supervise the performance of the productive area

Periodically issue Load reports by work centers.

Issue monthly efficiencies report by operator and by work center.

Design report on open or uncompleted orders

Manage human resources

Prepare annual vacation plan for unionized staff

Evaluate performance of unionized personnel

Coordinates production supervisors for the execution of production on the shop

Coordinates the integration of new personnel

Evaluate general performance of supervisors

Analyze and complete assignments or movements that mean a promotion for unionized personnel

Control Inventory in Process

Coordinates the taking of the annual physical inventory in WIP in coordination with machining production

Supervise introduction of new products

Review and coordinate the introduction of new products

Supervises the running of prototypes and tryout

Report and document the result of the try out

Control Tool Inventory

Check condition of molds and tools for manufacturing rubber diaphragms

Resolves and requests repair of molds and tools

Reviews and coordinates the maintenance of the inventory of cutting and trim tools

Oversees tool and mold inventory maintenance in Crib Master

Align with established standards (Safety, ISO, Internal Work Regulations)

Align with applicable ES&H procedures, as well as ISO procedures and standards established in the RIT.

Participate in an ES&H committee

Generate ticket to report anomalies in the system

Train and help users of the ORACLE / OEE system for its optimal use

Requirements

Industrial Engineer or similar

English level B2

Desire 2 years shown experience as supervisor or leadership role

Advanced skills in MS Office

Organizational and leadership abilities

Self-motivated, Communication and social skills
