We are looking for a Technology Expert Front-End to be part of our IT Marketing, Sales and eBusiness Department (MSE).

The role

In order to complete our Direct to Consumers, Ecommerce Department, supporting Nescafé Dolce Gusto brand, we are currently looking for an eCommerce Technology Expert.

In this position, you will be part of the D2C eCommerce Product Team, acting as a Front-End Technical Lead of the squad you lead working on delivery of Nescafé Dolce Gusto brand.

What you’ll do

• Drives agile at scale ceremonies.

• Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team, helping them solve complex problems.

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of developers, providing mentorship, setting goals, and ensuring the team's productivity and efficiency.

• Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, create development plans, estimate timelines, and ensure successful project execution.

• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Review code to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainability. Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. If needed, you will get your hands on the code and develop the most complex tickets.

• Problem Solving: Act as a technical point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. Provide guidance and support to the team in resolving critical production incidents.

• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design patterns, coding guidelines, and project documentation. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks that may impact project timelines or quality. Proactively address technical debt and ensure the team follows security and compliance standards.

Minimum qualifications:

• Adobe Commerce Expertise is a Must, strong hands-on experience (in Omni-Channel context)

• Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) Theme development (Luma, Hyva, etc)

• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node JS, CSS, and jQuery, with a track record of building complex applications.

• The ability to optimize front-end performance of Adobe Commerce websites is crucial.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies for front-end development.

• Strong communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients (Excellent English verbal and written communication skills)

• Experience working in an eCommerce delivery team, using agile methodologies.

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent; MS CS or Engineering preferred

• Demonstrated experience in leading development teams as Tech Lead

• Success in leading hybrid on- and off-shore teams

• Responsive web development techniques

• Ability to adapt and pick up new technologies

• Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams

• Knowledge/experience with Headless Commerce, Composable Commerce, New Relic, and Atlassian Tools (Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket).

• Hands-on, do-er attitude.
