We are looking for IT Solution Architect in Management Accounting to be part of our Finance, Control and Legal Department.

The role

As an IT Solution Architect, you will be responsible for integrating e-commerce solutions into our SAP system, specifically focusing on the Financial Contract Accounting (FICA) module and its integration with CO and COPA modules. This role requires a deep understanding of Management Accounting processes and the ability to design and implement efficient and scalable solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and project managers, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Design and architect end-to-end solutions for integrating e-commerce platforms with SAP, with a specific focus on the FICO and FICA modules .

  • Develop technical specifications and documentation for the implementation of e-commerce solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

  • Provide guidance and support to development teams during the implementation phase, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and standards. Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to e-commerce and SAP integration and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaborate with other Solution Architects and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and modules within the SAP landscape.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Management Accounting processes and provide guidance to business stakeholders on system capabilities and limitations.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree required, bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with preferred knowledge on Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • 8+ years of proven experience as an IT Solution Architect, preferably within the Management Accounting domain.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP Financial Controlling (FICO) module and its integration with e-commerce platforms.

  • Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end solutions with SAP S4 HANA in Controlling module, including data mapping, interface design, and system configuration.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional languages are a plus.

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP integration technologies (e.g., IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs).

  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, such as SAP FICA, Magento, Shopify, or THG.

  • Good understanding of Snowflake in the context of reporting and interfaces
