Emerson Finance Analyst in Escazú, Costa Rica

In this Role, your responsibilities will be

  • Assist with the management of North America World Area consolidated reporting for the Global Measurement & Analytical business unit, supporting the reporting and financial analysis across our 10+ reporting sites and factories

  • Analyze, interpret, summarize monthly financial results & forecasts - through effective excel analysis & communication with Business Unit / World Area finance teams.

  • Prepare financial presentations used by the CFO & executive leadership team.

  • Assist with the financial updates in the EMR planning cycle which consists of: POR submission, forecast process, deep involvement in Profit Review modeling, as well as materials for other executive meetings & reviews.

  • Build, analyze, and review data for ad-hoc management/strategic inquires.

  • Coordinate consolidation and analysis of all supplemental reporting requirements (external reporting, certifications, EMR requirements).

  • Recommend and initiate projects and operational improvement, particularly around automation and other more sophisticated tools, improving our routine reporting cadence.

For this role you will need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or related field

  • Three (3) or more years of applicable experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Hyperion Financial Leadership skills

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience or certification preferred

  • High level of integrity and accountability with results-orientation and a strong ability for prioritization

  • Strong interpersonal skills in all aspects, which will demonstrate our relationships with collaborators

  • Strong technology skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Manufacturing and Financials)
