Insight FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada. * PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT* Under the direction of Location Manager/Crop Sales Specialist, delivers products, accounts for all products handled, communicates sales leads, and performs repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of light and heavy equipment plus facility manufacturing and shipping equipment. * ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Delivers products to customers according to company standards and to increase potential sales. Communicates potential sales leads to their supervisor. Assures all product is accounted for with either an invoice or delivery ticket. Minimizes shrink according to company standards. Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of equipment in their control to provide the proper image and extend the life of equipment. Lubricates, services, diagnoses, repairs, assembles and maintains all equipment and vehicles Performs field or shop inspections to determine repair needs or estimate cost of repairs Fabricates and rebuilds from both formal and informal plans or verbal instructions Schedules maintenance and repairs in shop facility for self and other employees assigned to the shop at any given time Accessible and work extended hours as business conditions warrant for repairs and emergencies at the discretion of management * OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS* Responsible for maintaining company equipment according to company standards, adheres to the company Uniform Policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image. May serve on the location Safety Committee and adheres to the company environmental health and safety policies and training. Performs other duties as assigned. * REQUIREMENTS* Normally requires related experience and/or training to demonstrate the ability to delivery products to meet company standards and increase potential sales as well as the repair and maintenance of equipment. Understanding and experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment and vehicles. Proven professional communication and customer service skills and the ability to comprehend simple instructions and communicate one-on-one and in small groups with customers and other employees. Demonstrated time management and basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals along with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Understanding of basic computer skills as they relate to the custom application business. Demonstrated core competencies including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have or have the ability to obtain a CDL license with appropriate endorsements. Ability to be accessible and work extended hours as business conditions warrant for repairs and emergencies at the discretion of management.
