What do you contribute?

  • Our state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly rail vehicles bring passengers safely and efficiently to their destination every day - As a Technical Junior Project Manager (f/m/d) for communication and information systems, you will help to ensure that the IT solutions deployed function flawlessly.

  • You will support the technical and timely integration of the passenger information system (FIS), passenger counting system (AFZS) and video surveillance system (CCTV), which are based on modern IT communication infrastructures, throughout the entire V-cycle of the vehicle development project.

  • For this purpose, you will create functional concepts and accompany the technical implementation during the mechanical, electrical and software integration of the systems into the vehicle.

  • Furthermore, you support use cases/business cases and create system requirement specifications based on customer requirements.

  • You will monitor the work progress and evaluate the result of the development performance within the development of FIS, AFZS, CCTV subsystems (internal/external suppliers).

  • In doing so, you will use standard components and project-specific developed components, whose development you also accompany.

What do you bring along?

  • You have a completed master's degree in communications engineering/computer science or comparable.

  • You also have initial practical experience in system integration. You have gained this, for example, during working student assignments and/or internships.

  • You have good knowledge of communication/network technologies and architectures (e.g. LAN, Bluetooth, WLAN).

  • In addition, you have good knowledge of SW and system architectures and broad knowledge of HW and SW system integration.

  • Ideally, you are familiar with railway-specific standards (e.g. EN 50155, UIC 568, TSI PRM / LOC&PAS). If not, you will quickly get to know these with us.

  • You also speak very good German and English.
