Roles & Responsibilities
Design of open and closed loop control systems for high voltage direct current systems (HVDC)
Preparation of design specifications and documentation
Clarification of technical requirements within project teams as well as with customers and suppliers
Implementation of control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments
Remote support during commissioning and service of HVDC systems
Required Skills (Technical Competency)
University degree in electrical engineering with focus on energy and control technology and profound professional experience
Good knowledge in converter- and high voltage technology, as well as in open and closed loop controls
Good MATLAB/SIMULINK knowledge including model-based implementation and verification
Experience in the configuration of automation systems, preferably SIMATIC TDC / S7
Excellent English language skills, German language skills are of advantage
