What do you contribute?

  • As an important part of the engineering team, you will develop the electrical circuits for our innovative and environmentally friendly locomotives.

  • You will work hand in hand with the electrical, mechanical and software engineering departments to ensure the overall interaction of the functions.

  • In doing so, you will interface with prototype construction, commissioning and series production of our (your!) locomotives.

  • You will work internationally with team members from our engineering locations in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, USA and India.

  • You will select components according to system engineering requirements and take into account common railway standards and safety specifications.

  • Together with other trades, you will ensure integration in compliance with regulations, both functionally and in terms of installation technology.

What do you bring along?

  • You have completed a master's degree in electrical engineering.

  • You have already gained several years of experience in engineering or commissioning in industrial plant construction or the rail vehicle industry.

  • You have a pronounced ability to analyse and can understand complex interrelationships in rail vehicles.

  • A practised handling of a construction tool such as COMOS, ELCAD, Zuken E3 as well as SAP are an advantage.

  • You have already worked with heterogeneous teams and coordinated with different stakeholders.

  • You communicate confidently in English, ideally also in German, and are willing to travel occasionally.
