Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Production Supervisor job in Erie, PA. This is a contract opportunity. As a Production Supervisor, the candidate would be responsible for 2nd shift operations of a heavy fabrication plant to ensure safety, quality and customer commitments are met on the production line. Responsibilities for this Production Supervisor job include:

• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees. Must have ability to direct, lead, motivate, shop floor employees in an effort to meet daily production schedule and achieve a positive say-do in an effort to meet customer commitments.

• Must be detail oriented and be able to direct/hold employees accountable to company Safety, Quality, Production standards.

• Is team oriented and works well together with other team personnel to achieve business goals and strive for continuous improvement.

• Knowledge and ability to perform tasks in Micro-Soft Office (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)

• Good communication skills. Will be required to conduct daily safety/production meetings as well as relay shift pass-down notes.

• Flexibility to work OT/Weekends as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

• 3 years minimum manufacturing experience

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
