Aerotek Cnc Machinist in Erie, Pennsylvania

This is a great opportunity to join a national company that produces parts for many divisions! Current needs are for CNC Machinists; these positions play a pivotal role in the production efforts, working closely with other departments to ensure the quality and efficiency of our products.

Positions Open: CNC Machinists

Key Responsibilities:

• Select proper tools, tool holders, holding devices, etc. to assure proper setup and machine operation, center bars as required.

• Work from drawings, route sheets, specifications etc. to assure proper setup and machine operations.

• Use all micrometers and measuring instruments required to produce quality parts. Also, make any calculations required to setup and operate equipment properly.

• Produce parts according to sound machining practices and established inspection procedures.

• Make minor adjustments to G-Code Program and/or tooling setup as required to assure product quality and safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of CNC Machining experience OR Associate Degree in CNC Machining

  • Experience setting up a variety of CNC Machines

  • Proficiently use Micrometers and Calipers

  • Make minor adjustments/offsets to programs

Pay: $25-$32/hour
