We are looking for an experienced Aerial Foreman with prior telecommunications experience and knowledge to join our team.

Summary:

The Aerial Foreman is responsible for completion of aerial construction related activities while ensuring compliance with all code and safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Work with crew to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications

  • Ensure highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld

  • Instruct and follow of all OSHA and Company Fall Safety procedures

  • Responsible as the crew leader for proper, accurate and timely submission of dailies and production reports

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (include but are not limited to ):

  • 1-3 years prior experience in construction, cable, telecommunications or related industries; leadership experience preferred

  • Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift.

  • Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment

  • Drive and/or operate diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite (CDL preferred)

  • Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc. in the accomplishments of the company's goals

    Essential Physical Requirements include:

  • Climb into and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.)

  • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery

  • Repetitive motion with hand, wrist, feet, head, and shoulder

  • Work in congested or remote areas

  • Work while standing or sitting for several hours at a time

  • Must be able to work in small/sometimes confined areas

  • Must be able to work in variable heights/depths

  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50+ pounds

  • Reach, bend and stoop while performing work

  • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement

  • Work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses and hardhat

  • Work in extreme weather conditions depending on geographical location (below freezing to over 100 degrees and in very windy conditions)

    Hours/Schedules are determined based on Region and Customer Needs and in compliance with any regulations; on average – must be able to perform the above for at least 8 hours per day 5 days per week. Weekend work/Overtime is dependent on Work Load. Some travel may be required.
