Enoch City Corp Utility Maintenance Worker II in ENOCH, Utah

Utility Maintenance Worker II (Certified or Certifiable). Work under the supervision of the Public Works Director and/or City Manager. Performs a variety of journey level skilled duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of utility service systems including streets, water transmission and distribution and wastewater collection. Will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test.

Ability to react effectively in emergency and stressful situations; ability to exhibit imagination, initiative and problem-solving capability in coping with a variety of situations; ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public.

Minimum qualifications may include graduation from high school; plus level "II" Water Distribution Operator Certification, AND Five (5) years of experience in construction, maintenance or repair of water distribution systems. Must be a certified flagger. Must possess a valid commercial drivers license. Must be able to lift 0-75 pounds. Must be willing to work on-call duty and 24-hour standby.
