Job Duties

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Design, develop, and test new and enhanced software solutions using technologies including .NET, C#, and Java. Research new software technology and software development tools. Perform software application product design activities. Coordinate installation and delivery of software system during maintenance windows. Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, and documentation, creating and maintaining customer and technical documentation for software tools/processes. Implement software designs, maintain server databases, and develop database design and programming. Perform Unit and System testing on software applications. Provide customer support for existing and new monitoring infrastructure software. Mentor and train junior software developers new to the team. Telecommuting is permitted 100%. Position reports to company headquarters in Englewood, CO.

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Requires 3 years of experience in a related occupation.

Must have some experience in each of the following skills:

  1. Web Services and IIS 7;

  2. .NET programming: C#, F#, or Visual Basic;

  3. Database systems including: Microsoft SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and NoSQL;

  4. Scripting languages including: JavaScript, vbScript, and jQuery;

  5. Web technologies including: JSON, XML, HTML, AJAX, Bootstrap, and WebAPI;

  6. Microsoft Development Solutions including: Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Entity Framework, Windows Workflow Foundation, and Windows Communication Framework; and

  7. Reporting technologies including: Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, or DevExpress Reporting Services.
