Title Shop Mechanic - (Denver, CO)

Description The position will be opened until position is filled $26.00 - $35.00 Per Hour (Depending on Experience) We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD. Red Wing Boot Voucher of $125.00 Weekly Pay and Daily Pay Available Tuition Reimbursement Legal Insurance Pet Insurance Access to Major Automobile GM, Ford Vehicle discount Plans Responsible for efficiently repairing, servicing and maintenance of gas trucks, lifts, trailers, and small engines in the shop and field as needed. Perform routine maintenance on trucks, such as checking batteries and changing oil to ensure proper vehicle running. Inspect various parts of trucks, including brake systems, wheel bearings and steering mechanisms to ensure they are in the proper condition to operate effectively. Use different tools and equipment, such as pressure gauges, pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, screwdrivers, hoists, and jacks, to repair trucks while constantly utilizing safety precautions. Test Drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and to find issues to determine what the solution will be. Completes work- orders accurately and records the work performed. Ensures that all parts, sublet labor, oil and other miscellaneous costs are included on the work-order. Stays current in all models of equipment used or operated by RoadSafe. Keeps assigned work area clean and organized. Works in compliance with established Safety policies and procedures. Be willing to work split shifts and occasional weekends. Be able to be on call for 1 week 24 / 7 out of the month for service calls.

Position Requirements Job Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Excellent customer service skills. Must be comfortable with working awkward positions or cramped spaces preferred. Experience working with diagnostic computers. Prefer CDL License.
