Boeing Data Solutions is currently looking for a talented Senior Product Management Specialist to join the team in either Englewood, CO or Seattle, WA . This position will operate within Boeing Global Services (BGS) and is responsible for portions of the Ground Controls software solution along with other associated products. Interviews for this position will be conducted in early January 2022.

You will interact with customers, identify market trends, evaluate business opportunities, and stay current on technology advancements. This position requires technical understanding of product management, software development, and software development kits (SDKs). You will apply your knowledge of the market to create and expand the portfolio of products within Data Solutions. You will work closely with product development, software development, and project management to quickly create products and seek rapid customer validation. A successful candidate will understand the importance of using data to drive product decisions.

This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain product/service roadmaps

  • Own all aspects of product lifecycle management (PLM)

  • Drive to understand customers’ problems, needs, and priorities

  • Serve as single point of contact for all on-going product decisions; ensuring implementation of the decisions, consistency in communication, and effective client management strategies

  • Leverage knowledge of technical and business product requirements, personas, use cases, and backlog grooming to ensure roadmap objectives are met

  • Communicate product requirements to technical teams in order to effectively collaborate and coordinate specifications to meet roadmap targets

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of data tools and SDKs to enable the Ground Controls suite of products

  • Have a firm understanding of the Agile mindset

  • Identify, capture, and analyze appropriate data to drive business decisions

  • Interact with System Architects, Product Managers, Product Owners, Dev Leads and Developers to define optimal solutions to challenging problems

  • Contribute to an Agile development team, representing the customer requirements

  • Contribute to the development of collateral for marketing of software products

  • Provide system demos to customers and partners, as needed

  • Ability to work well both independently, with little guidance as well as in a collaborative, distributed, team environment

  • Strong desire to learn new things, think outside-the-box, and apply critical thinking to solve real customer problems

  • Impressive communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to effectively communicate complex ideas in a succinct and comprehensible fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences
