ENTRUST Solutions Group Project Engineer in Englewood, Colorado

Description

This role is hybrid and may require up to 3 days a week in the Englewood, CO office.

What You’ll Do: ·

The Project Engineer is responsible for performing engineering design on a variety of engineering tasks both independently and with ongoing supervision. · The Project Engineer receives technical guidance on new design topics that have not been experienced previously. · The Project Engineer will work closely with other senior engineers on typical engineering assignments tasks which are not familiar to the Project Engineer. · Applies complex technical information to designs and ensures projects meet specifications. · Reports to the PM and communicates challenges about scope, cost, schedule, and quality. · Reviews and provides feedback on vendor drawings related to their projects. · Leads small to medium or multi-discipline projects and directs the activities of Design Engineers working on their projects. · Responsible for fully understanding design requirements in their area of expertise. · Ensures that the quality control process is followed, including documentation utilizing the Quality Review Tracking tool for engineering, formatting, and independent reviews. · Self-checks work assignments prior to submitting for review, completes work with minimal errors. Participates in peer reviews and QC reviews. · Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: ·

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil or electrical engineering from ABET accredited university.

  • Four+ years of relevant work experience

  • Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design.

  • Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications: ·

  • Previous utility services experience in a plus.

  • Team management experience is a plus.

Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
