Reporting to the CFO, Global CNBC, this key role will be responsible for the financial analysis and reporting of CNBC Global (Domestic & International).  The FP&A Manager role will play a critical role in consolidating the financial picture, providing strategic insights and implementing process improvement to drive financial excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage CNBC revenue, cost, and EBITDA analysis, including quarterly pacing, monthly close and preparation of financial summaries.

  •  Analyze financial results to gain a deep understanding of variances versus budget, estimates & prior year; highlight key trends, risks and opportunities.  

  • Support CFO with budgeting process, working closely to develop and consolidate detailed budgets and financial plans aligned with strategic objectives. 

  • Lead the monthly headcount forecasting process, consolidating & preparing to report to CFO

  • Maintain and update financial data packs, seeking out opportunities to streamline/standardize processes to ensure accurate reporting and reduce manual inputs.

  • Develop/create management level presentations to support CFO in communicating financial/strategic analysis (Budget, LRP, Estimates)

  • Other ad hoc assignments, as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Finance experience.

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience in Media Financial Planning and Analysis.

  • Be a self-starter with proven experience working independently and taking initiative to understand the root cause of variances and the impact on bottom line financials.  

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Experience working across multiple functions and teams in a collaborative setting.

  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc.) skills and strong PowerPoint skills.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience in building management level presentations to communicate Financial results/analysis

  • Experience in SAP/AOE/BPC.

Candidates should have willingness to work overtime and on weekends during busy cycles.
