Imperium3 New York, Inc. (iM3NY) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Production Control Planner. As a key member of the team, the Production Control Planner is Planner capable of analyzing the MRP requirements to maintain the Production Floor in order to make customer commitments. With the understanding of inventory and lead time of raw materials.

Imperium3 NY dba “iM3NY” is a startup Lithium-Ion battery cell development and manufacturing company with HQ and high-volume manufacturing plant located in Endicott, NY. We have an advanced LMP cell that incorporates patented Bio Mineralization to create a BMLMP cell that leads the way in the category. We are well positioned for growth and expansion in the future by a well-conceived product road map with advanced chemistry for Gen 2 and Gen 3 products that are in advanced stages of research and development.

Job Duties:

  • Knowledge and be able to read and analyze an MRP screen.

  • Responsible to release all production orders to the Manufacturing floor.

  • Must understand min/max requirements

  • Responsible to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

  • Must be able to interface with all respective business units.

  • Track and expedite production orders

  • Resolve problems as they arise

  • Assist in the development of procedures for Production control.

  • Responsible to maintain tool crib and spare parts to the min / max level.

  • Responsible to assist in logistics for outbound freight to customers.

  • Will be involved in physical inventory and cycle counting of WIP.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Excellent verbal and written communications

  • Proven skills in planning production orders in a Manufacturing environment.

  • Must have organizational skills

  • Must be detail oriented.

  • Must be able to think out of the box.

  • Understanding of Purchasing, Inventory and Logistics.

  • Proficient with Micro office suite and ERP systems

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk

  • Prolonged periods of computer work

  • Prolong standing and walking

  • Must be able to carry / lift 10 – 50Lbs

  • Must be able to use material handling equipment

  • Exposure to heat, cold, chemicals in dry climates

  • Required to work around chemicals and loud noise

  • Required to wear safety protective equipment, including but not limited to safety shoes, safety glasses.

  • Will be required to work in a dry room and must wear dry room attire.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree a plus but not necessarily required

  • At least 2 years planning experience

  • Basic Math skills

  • Experience with logistics a plus
