GB International Accountant/Bookkeeper in Endicott, New York

Accountant/Bookkeeper - Position in accounting/bookkeeping. Among the responsibilities of the job are data entry, invoicing review, check processing, accounts payable and receivable. It is essential that candidates have decent computer skills and typing abilities, be able to manage multiple job functions and work independently. Also required is some basic order processing and customer account review. GB International manages around 200 people worldwide, but has a small US workforce. GBI USA's accounting/bookkeeping position works directly with the GM and Operations team to manage cash flow throughout the organization. A long-term position would require knowledge of the entire order processing system in addition to accounting. A successful candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, able to work independently and develop a daily schedule that meets all job requirements. At times, the job can be fast-paced, but those with high computer skills can operate very efficiently. Various functions are not directly related to accounting/bookkeeping, and the job is tailored to the individual's abilities. Job Duties - Manage GBI USA Payroll, Review Chinese cash flow requirements and verify transactions, issue funds through bank transfer, invoice GBI Customer base and maintain on time payments, pay USA Vendors and contractors, process US Shipments and exports, make ERP system adjustments for customer EDI schedules, manage inventory adjustments, process journal entries and adjustments, review Chinese payroll and release funds transfers, complete a monthly ERP System closing, provide monthly financial statements to GM and shareholders.
