Essential Functions:

Responsible for maintaining plant wide electrical troubleshooting and repair

Responsible for maintaining all automation throughout the facility (electric circuits of 480VAC or less)

Troubleshoot and repair high voltage lighting, variable frequency drive (VFD) and alternating current / direct current (AC/DC) systems

Ability to perform general electrician skills including but not limited to running conduit and sizing and pulling wire.

Utilize the integrator to assign IP addresses to new equipment and to work with ladder logic

Ability to read and understand ladder logic is required

Ability to determine needs for installing new equipment

Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logix Control (PLC) (Allen-Bradley) systems like, Logix Controls

Check output on DC controllers and replace printed circuit boards when needed

Troubleshoot, locate, test, identify, or diagnose electrical malfunction and then adjust, repair, or replace

Ability to follow, interpret, and read blueprints or schematics

Calibrate and/or troubleshoot process instrumentation

Inspect for conformity to industry standards or specifications

Rebuild, repair and replace damaged, defective, or worn parts

Maintain a clean and orderly work area and remove material and equipment from job site

Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned

Troubleshoot and repair AC motor starter circuits
