BeiGene Corporate Account Director - New England in Emeryville, California

This assignment covers the New England geography which may include CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT. The ideal candidate would live within the geography and have relationships with IDN, Health Systems, and GPO Community Accounts. However, a highly qualified candidate may also live outside of this geography.

Position Summary:

The Corporate Account Directors will be responsible for developing, communicating, and implementing Strategic Business Plans for assigned accounts and expanding corporate relationships with key oncology stakeholders. These stakeholders will consist of C-suite level (CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’s) medical directors, practice administrators, pharmacists, and other decision makers in assigned accounts. Regional customers include but not limited to National Pathway Organizations, Integrated Delivery Networks, Health Systems, Hospital and Community GPO accounts. The CAD’s will collaborate extensively with National Account Directors, Market Access Marketing, and other market access colleagues to remove barriers to product access.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Develop and implement regional market access strategies for assigned accounts (IDN, HS, and GPO accounts)

  • Facilitate introductions to appropriate medical affairs colleagues for research opportunities, more specifically with BeiGene’s field Health Economic Outcome Research (HEOR) group

  • Establish corporate relationships with key account stakeholders.

  • Support patient access and field reimbursement

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to implement corporate strategies with regional targeted accounts

  • Work closely with finance, legal, pricing/contracting and trade/distribution to ensure products strategies are aligned and patient access objectives are achieved

  • Communicate with field sales management to facilitate optimal access and remove barriers to account entry

  • Lead and conduct QBR’s of targeted accounts with cross-functional team

  • Manage successful implementation and pull through of contracts and agreements with assigned accounts

  • Identify partnership opportunities through market research, landscape analysis and customer engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of related pharmaceutical experience is necessary with at least 5 years of direct experience in corporate account management, oncology

  • Experience executing physician network or IDN/Health System contracting and account management

  • Oncology therapeutic experience required; oral and IV oncology strongly preferred

  • Biotech or pharmaceutical US marketplace launch experience required.

  • Demonstrated ability think strategically, manage accounts effectively by objectively evaluating various opportunities

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of field market access issues, challenges, and successes

  • Record of successful account management experience

  • Strong negotiating skills required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No direct supervision, high level of cross functional collaborations with internal stakeholders

Computer Skills: Standard Computer Skills required.

Travel: Approximately 50% of time
