Kuehne+Nagel Blue Yonder WMS Specialist (m/w/d) in Embrach, Switzerland

Join us as a key point of contact for the warehouse management system at our contract logistics facility in Embrach, Switzerland.

Your Role

Join our National Information Systems Expert Team in Switzerland as a Blue Yonder WMS Specialist (m/w/d). Next to other projects you will support our contract logistics location in Embrach, Switzerland, where we handle warehouse logistics and distribution for an internationally renowned e-commerce customer. As a specialist, you’ll bridge the gap between operational and technical departments, translating logistics requirements and issues into IT language to implement process improvements and ensure system availability.

Your Responsibilities

  • As a point of contact for our customer and operations, you’ll handle system-related inquiries and provide first-level support, including creating next-level tickets.

  • Your responsibility includes ensuring optimal functionality of our Blue Yonder (JDA) Warehouse Management and Transportation systems.

  • You’ll be involved in implementing projects within the system environment of our Warehouse and Transport Management Systems, including integrating external service providers and applications.

  • Analyze and optimize work/process flows related to the deployed systems, and contribute to process and solution design.

  • Customize the Data Warehouse and create reports.

  • Prepare and conduct user training and workshops.

  • Perform regression and new development testing.

  • Maintain online documentation of system processes, keeping it up-to-date.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Experienced in supporting Blue Yonder WMS (JDA Discrete), including user support.

  • Professional background in warehousing or contract logistics.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, a strong customer service orientation, and a collaborative team spirit.

  • Proficient in analytical thinking, with a self-directed and structured work approach.

  • Effective English communication skills; written and spoken German proficiency is desirable.

  • Knowledge of SQL and Moca.
