Crops: Apples, Pumpkin/gourds

Apple harvest. Workers will use bags and ladders to manually remove fruit from trees and place it in bulk bins. Care will be taken to avoid bruising and discard damaged fruit according to the food safety protocol. Pumpkin/Gourd Harvest. Workers will use shears to separate pumpkins from vines, then pick them up and place them in bulk bins. Workers will apply white paint to the base of trees to prevent insect and freeze damage.
