Nickle Plate Bar & Grill Dishwasher in Elysburg, Pennsylvania
Knoebels is America's largest free-admission amusement park and offers free parking, entertainment and picnic facilities in Elysburg, PA. We are family-owned, 4th generation driven to exceed our customers' expectations by providing exceptional service and progressing continuously. We are currently seeking a dishwasher to clear tables and maintain dinnerware in a clean safe manner for our restaurant guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clear guest eating areas and prepare those areas for new guests in a consistent, friendly manner
- Scrape, rinse and fill dishwasher with dinnerware to be washed
- Hand wash large pots and pans
- Put away clean dinnerware
- Wipe off dish counters
- Empty trash containers as needed
- Sweep and mop floors in dishwashing area
- Stock cleaning supplies
Requirements:
- Passion for people!
- Age 14 or older
- Be available evenings and weekends (14--15-year-old cannot work past 9:00pm).
- Exceptional communication skills while relating to people in a friendly, professional manner
- Self-motivated; acts without needing direction from others
- Perform cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Prior experience and customer service experience is a plus
Physical Demands:
- Working in an indoor environment in all types of weather
- Lift up to 40 pounds and transfer equipment/supplies as needed
- Ability to move throughout the Resort as needed
