Job Details Job Location Elyria, OH 44035 - VSI - Elyria, OH Education Level HS Diploma/GED   Salary Range $14.00 - $16.00 Hourly Job Shift Other - see details in job posting Description Location: 359 Lowell St. Elyria, OH Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Friday, 7:00am - 2:00pm FLSA: Nonexempt SUMMARY To ensure accuracy of shipments and purchases related to customer purchases and orders at the Elyria facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by Manager of Manufacturing. Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the agency. Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments. Signing off and maintaining record of any Receiving Reports. Ensure that product received matches Purchase Orders/Bills from Vendors before approving. Responsible for investigating any material discrepancies and reporting findings to the Elyria Management. Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them with Elyria Management. Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers. Completes all purchase orders for customers for labels and polybags. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a positive manner with VGS staff and program participants. Complies with Safety and Security Policy, Ethics Policy and Substance Abuse Policy. Must be punctual and maintain satisfactory attendance according to VGS' Salaried Staff Personnel Policies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree (B. A.) with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED required. One to two years' experience with inventory management is preferred. Should be able to effectively work in a computerized environment using accounting software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe, and Fixed Assets Systems. Knowledge of Quickbooks is preferred.
