Basic Function: Communicate customer requirements. Provide customer service via telephone, fax, or written correspondence. Communicate all requirements to appropriate product team through mainframe order entry. Data entry including new orders, changes, credits, special pricing agreements, returned goods and customer data base. Provide support to inside sales team. Functional/Relationship: Interacts routinely with customers, co-team members, business units and division management to communicate all customer information as an advocate of premier customer service. Scope/Supervision: Under general direction of Sales Administration Manager, provide premier customer service through division marketing policy. Knowledge of all standard pricing policies. Handle all EDI/fax/written orders and correspondence. Perform all data base maintenance for accuracy and quality in information systems. Have a working knowledge to recognize part numbers and their relationships to product groups and corresponding teams. Responsibilities: Timely response to all customer inquiries. Facilitate all order processing via main frame order entry. Communicate all customer requirements including delivery, pricing and special instructions to appropriate product teams. Maintain appropriate customer files and related reports. Handle ATRs files and provide warranty and non-warranty information to customers. Must continuously maintain the highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity. Any other duties as assigned. Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
