Eaton Corporation Electrical Test Lab Data Acquisition in Ellisville, Missouri

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS PCD division is currently seeking a Electrical Test Lab Data Acquisition. Add sentence or two about what the business does/manufactures. The core hours are 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm​

The hourly rate for this position is 23.60 per hour.

What you’ll do:

  • Set-up, operate and maintain equipment and facilities utilized to test a complete range of prototype and production overcurrent protection products and related devices within the High Power testing facilities.

  • Set-up, operate and monitor a full range of electrical/electronic, mechanical and environmental test equipment as required to complete testing objectives.

  • Operate a Windows-based computer and data acquisition system and software to capture and analyze critical test data.

  • Create polished test reports to convey test results to internal and external customers as well as regulatory agencies.

  • Maintain and repair laboratory mechanical, electric and electronic equipment. Responsible for quality of own work.

  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

  • Work from electrical schematics, test specifications, verbal and written instructions.

  • Use a wide range of electric and electronic, mechanical and environmental test equipment, instrumentation, timers, recorders, counters, small hand tools, drill press, and band saw.

  • Keep work area clean. Follow all safety rules and practices.

  • Works in a team based environment to meet Bussmann business objectives. Will serve in Team Coordinator positions as required

Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years relevant journeyman level electrical experience or an electrical-focused degree from an accredited technical institution.

  • Proficiency in MS Windows/Office based computer system is required.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Ellisville, MO will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
