Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will focus on supporting projects in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Operations. Your key responsibilities will include leading continuous improvement activities by applying LEAN, 5S, process flow, and safety principles. You will design, develop, document, and manage manufacturing processes and methods for new and existing manufacturing work cells. Additionally, you will be involved in the design and fabrication of prototype, test, and production equipment. Your role will also encompass technical support, troubleshooting, and repairing automation and equipment, and participating in the NPI process. You will also support Business Development activities on new project opportunities and activities promoting the attainment of company objectives and metrics. Furthermore, your expertise will be crucial in mentoring personnel on automation and equipment, installing and starting up new equipment, organizing training on new equipment, setting objectives, prioritizing Manufacturing Engineering tasks, driving Continuous Improvement activities through the Manufacturing Engineering group, defining and executing department quarterly goals in alignment with corporate objectives, and serving as the subject matter expert as the Automation primary contact.

Hard Skills

  • Experience in a machine shop environment with standard machine shop tools (milling machine, lathe, band saw, drill press, table saw, etc.)

  • Experience with continuous improvement

  • CNC programming

  • Working with 6 axis and SCARA robots

  • C++ programming
