Report Developer

Candidate must have or be willing to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Key Tasks:

· Experience designing and developing projects including suite of report services, views, and dashboards

· In collaboration with the Solutions Architect and Data Architect, design and implement an intuitive reporting UI which supports user self-service reporting

· Work with Front end developers to create highly usable and compliant (security, 508) user interfaces

· Create report prototypes to obtain customer feedback

· Collaborate with team to design new features and functionality

· Monitor progress against deliverables, employing effective risk and issue management strategies

· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with CMS stakeholders and other

Required Skills:

Proven experience:

· 6+years as a software engineer building multi-tier, enterprise web-based solutions using technologies/frameworks such as Java EE, Spring, Wildfly, RDBMS, ORM, REST.

· 2+ years estimating, planning, and executing complex projects using Agile methodologies

· Expert level knowledge in RDBMS, SQL.

· Developing systems with Section 508 compliance

· Building strong relationships through Agile team(s) and personal performance

· Collaborating in a multiple team environment

· Exceptionally strong communication skills, verbal and written. Includes the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical and system backgrounds and at multiple organizational levels

Desired Skills :

Proven experience:

· 5-7 years as a reports developer using SQL database such as postgres

· 2+ years of experience designing reports leveraging industry standard UI design concepts

· 1+ years using Agile methodology

· 1+ years supporting CMS Medicare or Medicaid programs

· Exceptionally strong communication skills, verbal and written. Includes the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical and system backgrounds

Education/Certifications:

· Computer Science degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related major.

Candidate must have or be willing to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
