The Role: The Development Coordinator - Academic Programs (DCAP) will be a key team member in ensuring that donors to Academic programs are fully engaged and that donor support is effectively managed. The DC will be a member of the University Advancement team and work closely with CWU University college leadership, faculty and staff on various annual giving and events-based projects and coordination / administration of non-major gift administration and stewardship. They will also coordinate closely with Alumni Relations and Development staff to enhance donor and prospect engagement that leads to new or enhanced philanthropic support and may provide fundraising coordination support to volunteer boards in colleges. All employees are expected to support CWU's commitment to diversity and to bring and support inclusion into the university environment. Job Duties Fundraising Coordination: - Act as a liaison between Annual Giving and Academic units to implement Annual Giving initiatives such as GiveCentral and other micro-campaigns - Coordinate gift-in-kind philanthropic gifts from donors by working with donors and navigating appropriate university channels and faculty staff relationships to receive and administer such gifts. Ensure all appropriate valuation and documentation is in place in accordance with CWU Foundation policies - Coordinate College-specific donor recognition and stewardship in coordination with college/program staff - Work with Directors of Development and Stewardship to coordinate and manage events to engage and/or steward new and/or existing donors - In coordination with the Director of Donor Relations, ensure donors are connected with their scholarship recipients and funds are fully spent - Work with Communications staff and university staff to implement stories of donor impact in various communications channels - Work with central develo
