Responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality goods and services at the most competitive prices. The role involves collaboration with various departments to understand their needs, conducting market research, and negotiating contracts with suppliers. Responsibilities Create comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement needs. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and trends. Analyze and forecast market conditions and industry trends to inform sourcing decisions. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements. Draft and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Resolve contractual disputes and issues in a timely manner. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing and procurement. Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing. Work closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs and requirements. Communicate sourcing strategies and updates to relevant stakeholders. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive procurement efficiencies. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in supply. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and contract management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) preferred.
