Psychiatric Clinical Pharmacist

Location: Elkridge, MD (Onsite)

Relocation Assistance and Sign-on Bonus Available

About the Role:

As a Psychiatric Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in our department by bringing your expertise in new drug criteria and analyses. Your innovative approach will be instrumental in shaping our clinical practices and optimizing patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements related to drug utilization and provide consultative recommendations to Prescribers when necessary.

  • Uphold clinical goals and guidelines for our pharmacy prior authorization program.

  • Evaluate new therapies and methodologies to identify trends and address gaps in care.

  • Review prior authorizations for clinical appropriateness and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacist license (PharmD) in Maryland (required).

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting formulary, prior authorization, benefits design, and clinical information.

  • Expert knowledge of clinical pharmacy and drug product information.

  • Previous experience in PRO and RetroDUR.

  • Proficiency in IV infusion and compounding.

  • Previous experience supporting call center prior authorization programs.

  • Specialized training in psychotropic medications REQUIRED

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $125K-$145K
