Garmin USA RV Regional Sales Manager - 12836 in elkhart, Indiana

Overview

We are seeking a full-time RV Regional Sales Manager in our Elkhart, IN location. In this role, you will be responsible for directing the sales of the Garmin RV adn Fusion product line.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase market share/profits, establish/execute sales plans/sales promotions, and prepare/maintain monthly sales forecasts
  • Responsible for attaining sales targets
  • Manage all aspects of the RV Entertainment business including setting and achieving yearly sales and expense budgets
  • Manage various direct OEM accounts including day to day account management of major accounts
  • Leverage product knowledge to create sales strategies attractive to potential RV OEM clients
  • Develop, maintain and share Garmin product knowledge with OEM clients
  • Create and make sales presentations to prospects and existing accounts
  • Communicate market requirements effectively to product development teams
  • With little/no supervision, able to travel within the area, coordinate, and represent Garmin at industry and professional meetings, trade shows and conferences and complete timely and succinct trip/status reports
  • Manage large accounts with excellent project skills and maintain product/pricing knowledge
  • Act as a mentor/lead to newer less experienced associates

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 3 years experience in sales and marketing with a proven track record in meeting sales targets OR a minimum of 7 years relevant experience
  • Highly motivated sales professional who demonstrates proven track record of sales successes
  • Demonstrates a customer service focus with proven experience in relationship building and providing quality customer service experiences
  • Demonstrates strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and must be an articulate/fluent communicator who is at ease with public speaking
  • Must possess superior organizational/analytical skills with keen attention to detail/quality
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
  • Flexibility to travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Internal Garmin experience serving as a Regional Training Specialist, Senior Regional Training Specialist, Inside Sales Representative, or Associate Sales Manager
  • Excellent product knowledge of communication and navigation systems
  • Demonstrates initiative in suggesting/executing individual, team, and strategic objectives
  • Demonstrates a proficient fundamental understanding of the RV OEM sales division's products and segment's industry
  • Experience in the Marine and/or RV industry
