  • Bachelors Degree in behavioral sciences, social work, criminal justice, or a related field and NCIC
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Working knowledge of and ability to make practical application of local, state, and federal regulations/statutes, standard policies and procedures, adult/juvenile criminal code, and legal terminology of criminal justice system; as well as to implement department policies, directives, and general orders
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures/practices
  • Ability to deal swiftly, rationally, and decisively with potentially violent individuals in precarious situations, and take authoritative action applying appropriate discretion and common sense
  • Background check and drug screen required
