Job Description: Mars Wrigley - Elizabethtown, PA

Title: Team Member Area: (Shipping/Tanker Bay) Pay: based on experience starting at $23.15/HR + $1.50 shift differential

What do we manufacture? Dove Chocolate

Required Shift: * Rotating Shifts: 1st (6:30 AM -3:00 PM), 2nd (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) & 3rd (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM) shift. * 8 hour shift during the week (Monday- Friday) * 12 hour shift on weekends (off every other weekend) * 1 consecutive full week off per month (in addition to other days off per month)

Job Purpose: Team Members (AKA Shipping/Tanker Bay Machine Operators) function as an expert member of a shipping area which is responsible for the efficient production, shipping and loading/unloading of quality products in the required quantities. They operate/change over specified machinery and train and/or perform the tasks with other associates in the area as needed.

What we are looking for? Minimum Requirements: * High school diploma or GED * 3+ years experience within manufacturing, technical and/or trade discipline * Previous shipping/receiving experience * Computer Savvy- competency in computer and PC software including MS Office and email * Must be willing and able to workvarying/rotating shifts includingweekends and holidays

Physical Requirements: * Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.). * Frequenthandling/gripping/bending/stooping. * Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment. * Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift). * Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment * Able to read, write, speak and understand English

Preferred Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting operating a variety of machines * Experience loading and unloading tanker trucks * Ability to operate a forklift/OSHA certification * Knowledge of inventory control principles * Experience with SAP or other warehouse management system * Understands production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions

What will be your Key Responsibilities? * Performs activities and job tasks within a manufacturing and shipping area * Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner(Load and unload tanker trucks) * Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level * Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting * Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM) * Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc. * Maintain accurate records of quality check and keeps detailed logbooks * Any ad hoc tasks
