DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Description: Company: Mars Wrigley- Elizabethtown, PA Title: Production Assistant Pay: Based off experience starting at $19.38/hr +

Required Shift: Day Shift: Monday- Friday 6am- 2:30pm Rotating Shifts between 1st (6:30 AM -3:00 PM), 2nd (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) and 3rd (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM) shift.

Job Purpose: The Production Assistant is responsible for running successfully and safely a set of machines, equipment and/or processes within their working area in the manufacturing plant.

What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements: * High school diploma, GED or above * 1+ years experience working with manufacturing equipment and machinery

Physical Requirements: * Frequent lifting/carrying (10-55 lbs) & pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs). * Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping. * Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment. * Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift). * Ability to work in varies manufacturing environments and non-temperature-controlled rooms. * Able to read, write, speak and understand English

Preferred Qualifications: * 3+ years of hand on experience working in the manufacturing industry * Mechanical or technical training * Fork Lift driving experience

What will be your Key Responsibilities? * Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment. * Carry out routine operational tasks including starting-up, shutting-down, monitoring, cleaning, and carrying out basic changeovers, minor repairs, routine checks and inspections, and the use of basic ancillary equipment and computer programs. * Escalate issues as appropriate, give full and accurate verbal and written handover * Repair mechanical breakdowns using trained knowledge and experience.
