We are currently a Di sc Assembly Group Leader  for 2nd shift.

Job Summary

The associate will be responsible for working with the Superintendent and assisting in production and Associate matters in the assigned area.

Responsibilities and Duties

•Follow safe work practices and encourage others to do so. 

•Perform and record quality checks and supervise part output to verify they are meeting quality standards.

•Follow standardized work instructions and train Associates to follow SWI.

•Train new Associates and provide refresher training to Associates that have transferred onto the line or may need additional support.

•Ensure the line follows 2S Standards and perform regular cleaning.

•Ensure line productivity by directing team of assigned temporaries and full-time Associates.

•Work with Superintendent to solve issues that may arise on the line ( ie ., employee relations, production output, etc.)

•Perform machine change-overs as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

•Akebono Associate

•High school Diploma or GED

•Excellent communication with others with the ability to work-well under pressure and proactively problem solve.

•Display strong organizational and time management skills.
