Job Overview:

The Licensed Social Worker will support the provision of group and individual substance, and as necessary, mental health services. The position will carry a caseload of individuals and be responsible for facilitating group and individual sessions along with development of client-driven treatment plans. The LSW will also attend weekly clinical team and unit meetings.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's in Social Work with a focus on substance abuse counseling

  • Minimum of 1 year working with substance abuse population

  • Working knowledge of NJSAMS

  • Strong documentation and follow up skills

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ Social Worker License

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift working, 7am-4pm, and one late evening per week

  • Monday-Thursday

  • FT

Essential Functions:

  • Participates in group and individual supervision and treatment plan reviews and updates

  • Carries caseload and facilitates individual sessions, groups and Intakes

  • Completes treatment plans

  • Ensures timely documentation

  • Responsible for overall client satisfaction and treatment plan reviews and updates

  • Performs other duties as assigned
