VectorCSP USCG Aviation Survival Technician (AST) Instructor in Elizabeth City, North Carolina

VectorCSP is looking for an experienced USCG Aviation Survival Technician (AST) Instructor to support Training Analysis Support Services (TASS) in Elizabeth City, NC.

Requirements: Secret Clearance is preferred; the ability to acquire a Secret clearance is required.

Job Summary:

The USCG provides training, education, and development programs to its personnel to meet the needs of its active duty, reserve, and civilian workforce. This position will provide instructional services to meet the Coast Guard's unique needs in the rating of Aviation Survival Technician (AST)

Education and Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of training experience in the AST field; preferably with the USCG, DoD, and/or DHS.

  • Experience with USCG performance analysis, instructional design development (analysis, design, development, implantation, and evaluation), training support services and training delivery is highly desired.

  • Secret Clearance is preferred; the ability to acquire a Secret clearance is required.

    Essential Duties:

  • Provide expert skills and knowledge to deliver instruction to students.

  • Ensure students achieve the necessary skills mandated by course curricula and successfully meet course objectives.

  • May be required to evaluate students' performance by verifying their understanding of the course material, competency of learned skills, and their ability to demonstrate applied knowledge.

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Must have experience providing training in the area/rating of Aviation Survival Technician (AST)

  • Proficiency in developing written documents and briefing materials.

  • Experience supporting school/learning environments

  • Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and deliver.

  • Ability to write technically.

  • Ability to work within a team and solve problems collectively.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels of command chain.
