AnthroMed Education Middle School Social Worker in Elgin, Illinois

Middle School Social Worker:

AnthroMed Education is a local provider of Special Education services, including Social Work that supports the needs of pre-K-12th grade schools throughout the Greater Chicagoland area. We focus exclusively on helping children get the necessary services and support they need to succeed! We are immediately seeking to add a full-time Social Worker to our team in Elgin, IL for the 2023-2024 school year. For this role, the Social Worker will provide essential support and services to a caseload of Middle School students who are facing various emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide services to a caseload of Middle School students.

  • Work with students both individually and in group settings.

  • Effectively evaluate, update, and communicate the needs of each student.

  • Participate in IEPs and all other required meetings to benefit the students' success.

  • Ability to handle crisis situations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

  • Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work

  • Illinois PEL with an endorsement in Social Work
