Join Our Clients Team as a Senior CNC Programmer in Eldridge, IA!

In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing programming support for fabricated parts on various processing equipment to optimize production schedules, plate usage, and efficiency.

Position Description: As a Senior CNC Programmer at Ryerson, you will:

  • Generate machine language to transform customer-supplied piece part documents into finished products.

  • Program parts for processing on a range of equipment, including plate cutting (Oxy Fuel, plasma, laser), machining, and piece finishing.

  • Create piece part super nests to enhance material utilization.

  • Make adjustments to drawings based on customer requirements and equipment considerations.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining a 98% on-time delivery rate.

  • Develop proficiency in various machine codes to communicate with CNC machine controllers.

  • Comply with job work instructions on a daily basis.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvements in work processes.

  • Stay updated on new technologies and equipment available in the facility.

  • Serve as the point person for new equipment, potentially training new operators and liaising with equipment vendors.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A technical degree in CNC/CAD programming.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a programming position.

  • Preferred experience in CAD 2 & 3 D and CNC Machining Center programming.

  • Proficiency in MS Office software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Strong root cause analysis skills with corrective action follow-up.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and multiple tasks.

  • A track record of being self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
