About The Role:

Are you an emerging and energetic marketing professional who loves applying your strategic marketing and project management skills?

Does the idea of being the go-to expert in how we market our commercial real estate listings seem right up your alley? We’re looking for a customer-centric, highly organized, creative marketing professional to lead our property marketing efforts in the South Bay market. You’ll serve as a single point of contact (SPOC) for our sales professionals and manage the process to ensure projects deliver on time and as expected. You’ll use your creativity and industry knowledge to constantly improve the quality and effectiveness of our team’s work.

This job is part of the General Marketing job function. They are responsible for the design, development, and execution of marketing programs that support the organization's products and services. This role is full time onsite in our El Segundo office, 5 days per week.

What You'll Do:

  • Build meaningful relationships with our sales teams, learn their property marketing process and preferences, and be seen as their partner in marketing their listings.

  • Work with these sales teams to figure out correct marketing strategy for their listings and connect them with the appropriate property marketing strategy and resource model.

  • Come to the table with great marketing ideas, concepts and solutions for implementing innovative ideas.

  • Provide messaging, light copywriting, branding and marketing ideas.

  • Lead the creation of collateral to market our commercial real estate listings including: brochures, eblasts, websites, signage, offering memorandums, and more.

  • Oversee all projects from start to finish, working with our regional Design Team to execute the deliverables – maintain schedule of active projects using our project management platform, outline creative briefs, research and source content, work with vendors as appropriate, communicate what is needed for each project with designers, check drafts for quality control.

  • Collect project files and info on Box, ensuring the folders are organized and use appropriate naming conventions.

  • Manage outsourced graphics support (maps, site plans, stack plans, etc.)

  • Ensure CBRE brand and legal requirements are met.

  • Ensure deadlines and expectations are met.

  • Coordinate with local business development and national property marketing teams to share knowledge about our current listings, commonly used assets like maps and photos, and standard processes for managing your projects and marketing our listings.

  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.   • Minimum of 3-4 years of account management or related marketing experience, preferably working in commercial real estate, a professional services firm, or marketing agency.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or marketing.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including working knowledge of InDesign.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on sophisticated topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.

  • Ability to empower and communicate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

  • Can-do attitude, with a flexible, positive mentality and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven atmosphere in collaboration with others.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

California State Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Marketing Specialist position is $75,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $85,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
