Job Summary

The selected candidate will be a project management representative for physical and technical security for construction/revisions of classified spaces. You will engage with multiple project leads and handle physical and technical requirements of the new/revised construction. You will interact with and manage vendors for accuracy of performance/compliance with applicable government standards. The selected candidate must be an experienced locksmith handling duties that range from installing high security devices, rekeying, master key system and proper hardware installation applications. The selected candidate will also assist with managing a team of locksmiths. Lastly, the selected candidate will assist management with computer system/network support, purchase orders, service request administration, and generating team incident management reports.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Accurately document and evaluate systems for security compliance.

  • Provides physical and technical security guidance to internal and external customers.

  • Provides administrative security support

  • managing all access control systems

  • supporting all government annual inspections for classified programs

  • proactively identifies and resolves ongoing issues in advance of inspections.

  • Configure & test alarm systems for multiple facilities and classified program development

Basic Qualifications:

  • Existing Secret Clearance with the eligibility to obtain Top Secret & Special Access

  • Able to perform after hours duties related to construction activities or emergency response situations

  • Candidate must perform company travel as needed to other sites

  • General knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office Programs, Adobe PDF, FileMaker, and related Company software

  • Must have knowledge in enterprise network, TCP/IP and RF communications

  • Must have strong project and task management skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent customer service skills

  • Work and collaborate effectively in a team environment and using written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General Knowledge of Aerospace security functions.

  • Basic knowledge of access control and alarm system configuration.

  • Basic knowledge of RF communications.

  • ICD705 SCIF Construction Certification.

  • Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.

  • Minimum 2 + years’ experience in Database administration and Security Alarm System testing.

  • A+ Certification, knowledge of various O/S and software installation and configuration.

  • 2+ years of database management experience is highly desired.

  • Experience in Alarm System configuration demonstrated knowledge in setting up and administering network domain.

  • Knowledge of RTX physical facilities, programs, and systems is required to ensure proper support of the facility/programs, including configuring access control/intrusion detection systems across RTX.

Required Education (including Major):

  • High School Diploma and 13 years of directly related experience, or

  • Associates degree in related field and 9 years related experience, or

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or

  • Master's degree and 3 years of related experience.

The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
